"A powerful documentary whose gripping archival material is anchored by
vivid diary fragments from nine uncompromising stories. Unlike Anne
Frank's kind perception of humanity, it offers a spectrum including
bitter awareness as well as rage. "I'M STILL HERE" is a superb
introduction to the Holocaust for younger viewers."

"Powerful…treats the Holocaust almost as if it were news."

"I'M STILL HERE was amazing. It is so important to learn about people just like us who were treated so terribly just because of their religion. This totally changed my perspective on everything, and I will truly count my blessings.
It is unbelievable that over half of high school students don't know what the Holocaust was. It was one of the most significant events in history, and without some courageous souls, we would have lost even more people. I hope millions of teens see this and realize the horrors of discrimination"

"I really hope I'M STILL HERE will touch a lot of teenagers the way it has touched me. I know that even when I was in learning about this even in history class, a lot of my classmates didn't care about it. Most of your viewers are young people, and I hope that some of them start doing something about genocide going on in our world today."
– Cathy, 20, Canyon Country, CA (from MTV.com)
"I was amazed when you asked young people what the Holocaust was and they didn't know. I cannot believe that we have learned nothing from this. Although I love this country, I think we take for granted what really matters in life; this is especially true of teenagers. I'm glad that MTV was able to air something so touching and so important to remind those of us living with no real struggles that there is a world outside. I hope many people will get to see I'M STILL HERE"

"I thought I'M STILL HERE was extremely sad, but it forced me to hear the truth. It sickens me to think that there are people in our world who try to teach that the Holocaust never happened."
– Josie, 16, Abbeville, LA (from MTV.com)
"Thank you for I'M STILL HERE. I hope that someone out there learned the importance of tolerance and the pain or prejudice. We are all breathing the same air. We are all of the same Earth. Perhaps it is time we started acting like it."
– Jennifer, 17, Fresno, CA (from MTV.com)
"I am impressed and honored by this honest portrayal of the Holocaust. So many networks aimed at young people skip around this event, but MTV handled it bravely and well. Thank you for telling the story of my people."
– Rachel, 15, Woodland Hills, CA (from MTV.com)
"This has been one of the greatest documentaries I have viewed in a very long time. It depicts the lives and thoughts of the many teens who chose to write their lives during the Holocaust down in a diary in the hopes of being remembered. It is so heartbreaking at times that it brought me to tears. If you have not yet seen this documentary then definitely look into watching it, it is so informative and strong. In addition, the actors who donated their voices for this documentary speak with such conviction that you feel as if the actual person is talking to you."
