Haim Israel has achieved here a fascinating fusion, initiating a budding new genre, Hassidic / Mizrahi (Middle Eastern). All his music is religious, and draws from a wide variety of sources including Arabic, Turkish, Yemenite and more. He is joined in duet by masters of their genre Zion Golan (Yemenite), Haim Moshe (Mizrahi), and Haim Oliel, leader of the group Sfatayim (Moroccan), in songs such as "Have Mercy," "Mother of Mine" and 21 more.
