SALES TAX

 


All orders shipped to New York State will be charged sales tax based on county to which order is shipped.


PROCESSING TIMES

 

Most orders that are in-stock are processed within 1-3 business days, except during peak seasons (such as Chanukah, Passover, etc...) when it may take up to 5 days. Processing time does not include shipping time.

When paying with a Credit Card, customer authorizes Kol Ami to charge their credit card for the total amount of the order including shipping and any applicable sales tax. The credit card will be charged when the order is processed and shipped.


CHECKS (PHONE & CATALOG ORDERS ONLY)

 

We currently accept money orders, cashier's checks, personal and company checks. Make all checks payable to Kol Ami, and send to:

Please note: We hold all checks and money orders for up to 15 business days. There is a $15.00 fee for any check sent to our company that bounces. Customer should make sure there are sufficient funds in the account.


PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS, & FREE GIFTS

 

Various promotions, discounts, and free gifts may be offered from time to time through various means, such as mailers or other means of advertising. These promotions, discounts, and free gifts are always for a limited time, and are usually limited in quantity. All free gifts are on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. Discounts may change at any time without notice.

Please note: These Coupon and promo codes will be honored only to customers using them legitimately, as advertised. Customer must submit the order within the time frame for which the promotion is valid in order to receive it. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse the use of coupon codes if they are used contrary to the way they were advertised, or unintentionally, regardless if customer was able to enter such promotional code, or coupon, on our ordering process online or elsewhere. Coupon codes for Wholesale customers are honored by SISU Home Entertainment, Inc. Codes direct to consumers are honored by Kol Ami, Inc.





 

 RETURNS


CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY

 

Kol Ami wants satisfied customers. We stand behind our product. If product is damaged (not caused by delivery), contact Kol Ami within 7 days to have it replaced or exchanged. Please send it back to us, insured and prepaid, in the original condition within 30 days. It is important for customer include a note with explanation and preferred method for exchange or refund. Include the packing slip and a daytime phone number. Shipping charges are not refundable. If an item arrives damaged when returned to us, customer is responsible for the claim.

The type of product we sell can be easily compromised.  We encourage the customer to know what he/she is ordering and trust the customer to do so.  We will not accept a return because the customer decides the item is not really what he/she wanted.  Customer must be sure beforehand that the item meets the requirements.  All sales are final.

EXCEPTIONS TO SATISFACTION POLICY: The following items cannot be returned: worn or washed garments (t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc); CDs, DVDs, books, and software cannot be returned once opened.


WRONG ITEM SENT

 

We are very careful when we pack items, but occasionally, the wrong item may be sent to a customer. If this happens, please call customer service at 1-212-947-7888 and tell us about the mistake. The customer will pay the cost to ship the item back to us, while we will pay the cost to ship the proper item to the customer.


DAMAGED ITEMS

 

We stand behind our product. Any customer who receives a damaged item should contact us first! We need to bring it to the attention of the shipper. We will replace the item as soon as possible when something arrives damaged. It's important to keep all of the original packaging if an item arrives broken, and to notify us within 7 days of receiving the shipment.


RETURN ITEM CONDITION & ACCESSORIES

 

All defective items sent back to Kol Ami must be in their original factory condition, and must contain all packaging materials, booklets and accessories.


RETURN ITEM SHIPPING

 

Please send all return items (packaged well and with padding) using the cheapest mail possible with possible insurance. Shipping charges for returned items are the responsibility of the customer. We will pay the cost of shipping any replacement items (using the mail service of our choice).

NO REPLACEMENT ITEM AVAILABLE

 

Occasionally, due to supply problems, we might not be able to replace a defective item. If this happens, item can be exchanged for another item of equivalent value.

Please note! ALL shipping charges are non-refundable. This includes the original shipping charges, as well as all shipping charges for items sent back to Kol Ami (for any reason).
